Behind a small gate, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Hammersmith Road is Nazareth House – the headquarters of the Sisters of Nazareth. 150 yeas ago, Victoire Larmenier founded the order right on this spot and to this day, nuns are still working here in the community, caring for the elderly, teaching children and providing spiritual guidance. Sister Telecia and Sister Sikholiwe are both 24 years old. Both are Novices at Nazareth House. Originally Sister Telecia is from Samoa and Sister Sikholiwe is from Zimbabwe; but although they both are a long way from home, they are very happy to be doing their Noviciate here in W6.
They enjoy the community and the range of opportunities offered.

Notable residents past and present include Hugh Grant, Helen Mirren, Lily Allen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alan Rickman and Emilia Fox.
